I just finished reading The Catcher in the Rye. [spoiler alert?] I was constantly waiting for Holden to snap and go all Alex DeLarge on me. That probably had more to do with the surrounding controversy than the actual narrative, which makes me wish I knew nothing about the book in advance.
If you haven’t read it yet, you must appreciate the irony of me telling you the exact thing I wish I hadn’t known myself. Don’t worry, it’s still a great book. :)
